Welcome to Country

With gratitude, we acknowledge the Turrbal and Yuggera peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the land where Unplugged Yoga stands. We honour their stories, culture, and enduring connection to this Country, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. May our practice here continue with awareness, respect, and care.

What you’ll find at Unplugged

At Unplugged Yoga Ashgrove, we hold space for you to reconnect with your breath, your body, and the people around you. It is a studio where movement has intention, breath has space, and community has heart.

Our classes blend mindful flow, calming stillness, and the subtle strength that yoga cultivates over time. It is a place to deepen your practice, share in connection, and enjoy the simple ritual of coming together on the mat.

Accessibility for Every Body

Yoga should feel welcoming, not intimidating. We offer classes and guidance that meet you where you are, so you can move in a way that feels safe, achievable, and genuinely supportive.

Community at the Heart

Unplugged is more than a studio, it’s a place to belong. We create opportunities for people to connect, share, and grow together, both on and off the mat.

Joy in the Practice

Movement should feel good. We encourage curiosity, playfulness, and the freedom to explore your practice without pressure or perfectionism.

Holistic Wellbeing

We honour the whole person—body, mind, breath, and spirit. Our classes support strength, rest, resilience, and balance, helping you feel grounded in everyday life.

A Supportive Space

We hold space with care. Our teachers prioritise safety, clear guidance, and emotional openness, so you always feel supported to show up exactly as you are.

Authenticity Always

There’s no need to perform here. We believe in honest connection, real people, and practices that help you reconnect with yourself — no filters, no fuss.

What to Expect

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or you’ve been practising for years, Unplugged Yoga offers a studio space that feels warm, open, and thoughtfully guided.

New to Yoga? You’ll find clear guidance, supportive sequencing, and classes that help you build familiarity and confidence over time. Mats and props are available in the studio.

Experienced? You’ll find depth in our Vinyasa offerings, nuance in our teaching, and space to refine and expand your practice. Our teachers bring their own knowledge and presence to each class.

Our Story

Like all great stories, ours started with a bang: we opened the doors to our Brisbane studio just one month before the pandemic lockdown swept the world in 2020. Only weeks into operating, we were already closing our doors.

As a new business, it was a challenge. But as a brand, it cemented what we are all about: our people. These past few years have really taught us the true meaning of resilience. It’s about getting back up, and trying again.

Unplugged Yoga is not about Insta-perfect poses. We are about creating a space where our people can play, nurture their bodies, and find freedom. Since reopening, we have proudly expanded to offer an array of styles, workshops, and retreats.

Jasmine - Owner

Meet Jasmine

Jasmine brings a warm, grounded presence to Unplugged Yoga, with a lightness that makes the studio feel welcoming from the moment you walk in. She approaches yoga as a living practice, something to explore, deepen, and enjoy in whatever way feels true for you.

Her teaching carries a gentle sense of play, balanced with thoughtful guidance and mindful movement. She loves creating space for curiosity: the quiet moments, shared breath, familiar faces, and small discoveries that unfold on and off the mat.

At the heart of her work is a simple intention: to offer a studio that feels earthy, inviting, and community-led, a place where every practitioner can feel at home in their practice.

Our Teachers

Community is at the centre of our practice at Unplugged Yoga. Our teachers are here to guide you through your practice in a safe and welcoming environment. If you have any questions or thoughts about a class, feel free to come and have a chat with us afterward.

I teach yoga so there is more kindness and love in this world and importantly to share how yoga helps so much in life. I weave in the 8 limbs of yoga and I am always available after a class to chat.
My classes: Expect pranayama and a well thought out sequence with a specific theme or pose in mind.

I aim to bring a balance of calm presence and energising movement to every class. I believe our asana (physical) practice should challenge us – physically and mentally – so we can show up more resilient and grounded off the mat.
My classes: Are energising and empowering. I include pranayama to centre the mind and space at the end of practice for quiet reflection.
