Who This Training Is For
This training is for you if yoga has become an important part of your life and you feel ready to take it further.
You may want to teach, or you may simply want to deepen your practice and understand yoga in a more meaningful way.
Designed for both aspiring teachers and committed students, this 9-month yoga teacher training blends practice, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching skills to help you build confidence, deepen your understanding, and experience yoga beyond the physical.
Built for Depth, Not Just Certification
This training is designed to give you more than a qualification. It provides the time, guidance, and structure to deepen your practice in a real and lasting way.
Across nine months, you will strengthen your relationship with the mat—moving beyond postures to develop a sturdier foundation in breath-led practice and a clearer clinical understanding of anatomy and philosophy.
You will not just leave knowing more. You will leave practising with greater depth, understanding the work more clearly, and feeling equipped to step into the next stage of your journey with confidence, care, and integrity.

Learn from Teachers Who Live the Practice
At Unplugged, we believe yoga is a lived experience, not a performance. You will be guided by practitioners who have spent years refining their craft, navigating the depths of the work, and holding space for real transformation.
Michelle Freeman
As the lead facilitator, Michelle brings over two decades of clinical and traditional expertise to this program. Her teaching is defined by clarity, precision, and a deep respect for the lineage of yoga.
She doesn’t just teach postures; she teaches the logic of the body and the silence of the mind, providing you with a rigorous yet supportive foundation to step into your own authority as a practitioner.
Sonja Mapleston
Sonja is a registered Senior Teacher with over 20 years of personal practice. Her work is deeply grounded in the nervous system, supporting students and trainees to move with awareness, regulate stress, and reconnect with what matters.
Influenced by the Iyengar tradition, Sonja integrates breath, somatic awareness, and reflective inquiry into her workshop-based approach. She supports trainees to develop inclusive teaching practices that are grounded in both structure and intuition.
Jasmine Klemm
Jasmine, the owner of Unplugged Yoga, maintains a studio space that serves as a refuge from the noise of modern life. Her role in this training is to bridge the gap between the ancient roots of the practice and the realities of modern teaching.
